Straw Baling and Shed Rental

Sundown requires large quantities of the best quality wheat and rape straw each year.
Please contact us if you have straw to sell in the swath or in the bale
We source 4×4 or 4×3 straw bales year-round, and offer our own baling services to local farmers. Please contact us about straw shed rental if you have a suitable barn, or would be interested in building one.
Straw Sourcing
We work with local farmers and merchants to source the best quality 4×4 or 4×3 straw bales throughout East Anglia and the rest of the UK. We need a constant throughput and purchase straw throughout the year.
Baling Services
To secure as much local straw as possible, our own baling operation sources straw in the swath from local farmers using a fleet of modern balers and chasers. We aim to clear most of the straw we bale the end of September each year.
Straw Shed Rental
As well as investing in our own storage facilities, we are keen to work with local farmers interested in building new straw sheds. We will contract to pay off the straw sheds off in an attractive time frame, leaving a valuable asset for future use.
Sundown’s harvest team uses modern machinery to bale straw in the swath for local farmers, ensuring a consistent high quality of straw entering our manufacturing plant.
