Environmental Enrichment
Our chopped straw bales make ideal enrichment and play bales, allowing birds to naturally dust bathe, roost, and forage amongst the bales. During play, birds will naturally disperse some of the straw, topping up the litter around the bales.
Sustainability
We use 100% British straw in our poultry litter products, and work to reduce our carbon footprint by baling some of our straw locally to our production plant. Our bale and bag packaging uses recycled content and is itself recyclable.
Added Value
Used chopped-straw and Pellebed poultry litter is of more value to Anaerobic Digestion plants than wood based products due to its higher gas yields.
